I’m so excited to announce that I'll be running again as the Greens candidate for South Brisbane in the state election in October. It might be hard to imagine right now with so many of us at home, but over the next 6 months you and I have an unprecedented chance to change our future for the better.

After the huge swings we saw for Jonathan Sri in the council elections, we only need less than a 4% swing to win South Brisbane and we stand to gain up to 7 seats in Queensland Parliament.

And when we win, we’ll have a massive platform to fight for a future where everyone has the basics they need to live a good life - health, education, childcare, aged care and roof over their head. Where we tax big corporations to fund a massive investment in publicly owned renewable energy, public housing and new manufacturing industries. A future where we finally bring our essential services back into public ownership.
